Kertis Henderson: President, Director of Engineering

Kert holds a B.S. in Computational Math from Penn State University. He's been doing computer hardware and software work professionally for 14 years. He's been an IGDA member for two years. Kert taught a GameBoy Advance programming class at the 2006 Digital Game Expo in Raleigh, and lectured on computers in education at the 2007 DGXpo.

Kertis wrote his first program for money on a Commodore 64 computer in 1988. Since then, he's programmed in dozens of computer languages on many different platforms. He's worked with Microsoft Windows and Macintosh PCs, as well as handheld ARM-based system like GBA, DS, and Windows Mobile.

Kert was the lead programmer for a number of years at Micro Medic, Inc., a full-service I.T. company. At Micro Medic, he taught and guided junior programmers, handled project schedules, and interfaced with clients. His projects ranged from e-commerce web sites to multi-million-dollar contracts with the Department of Defense. He also worked with the blind to provide speech-enabled handheld systems to navigate warehouses and retail areas, as well as other creative solutions.

Kertis brings to the party a solid background in large-project development. He has experience managing programmers on tight time schedules with both rigid and moving specifications. His time as group manager taught him skills in hiring, employee management, and resource utilization.


Eric Neigher: Director of Design

Eric hails from a strong legal, writing, and design background. As a professional video game journalist, he has been commissioned for the official critique and review of major titles for top publications. His combination of journalism and legal practice provides accurate industry analysis and legal council. He brings his game design experience to Lich King Studios, where he submits initial concepts for products and develops the details for quality game rules and entertaining gameplay.


James McCawley: Director of Production

James has been fortunate to serve as a QA manager and production assistant for some of the Activision’s biggest games of the past few years, such as Call of Duty 4. For Lich King Studios, he contributes the experience he gained while he worked at one of the world’s largest video game publishers. Along with QA methodologies, he also contributes his audio background. He provides technical sound design, audio effects, and music composition.
